I don’t have a video for this recipe.
If I had a photo, I would most certainly use it. That is... unless the photo I have sucks. For now, you'll just have to picture a big heaping helping of
Palmiers
...in your mind.

Palmiers

These pretty little swirly guys you might be buying at Starbucks. Well no more I say, because it's time to make them yourself. And btw, with only two ingredients...you'd be crazy not to.

Makes about 20

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted
  • Approximately 1/3 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Roll out pastry sheet into rectangle, trim edges to neaten
  2. Sprinkle work surface with about half the sugar, lay pastry on top, coat top with remaining sugar, then use a rolling pin again to flatten and press the sugar into the pastry, flip, do the same
  3. Roll shorter ends towards each other to meet in the middle (watch the video)
  4. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate 30 minutes
  5. Preheat oven 400
  6. Cut into 1/2" slices, and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet at least an inch apart
  7. Bake 15 minutes or until golden
