Chipotle Black

This uses food grade 'activated charcoal' that gives it it's hugely dramatic look. You can buy it at a health/nutrition store, or there’s a link below.

Makes about 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons smoked kosher or sea salt, reg salt will do for sure
  • 2 tablespoons activated charcoal powder, link here
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Directions

  1. Combine everything in a bowl, and mix well to combine
  2. Store in a sealed container
