Creamed Swiss Chard
Serves 4

Ingredients
1/2 red onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 bunches of Swiss Chard, red stalks removed
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons All Purpose Flour
3/4 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
pinch Kosher salt
fresh black pepper
Directions
Boil water in large pot
In medium pan, add oil and butter, cook onions, garlic 3-4 minutes
Stir in flour, whisk in milk, keep moving cook 2 minutes
Roll up all chard leaves, diced small
Cook in boiling water for 2 minutes, drain, press excess water out, dice again
Add chard, Parmesan, season Kosher salt and pepper to sauce, stir well and serve (perfect with a good steak).
