In case it wasn't obvious (or you're too young to know) the name of the book was inspired by the movie 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' - Kelly's idea. And in an attempt to really embrace the name, we leaned in to the Knight thing - crown, chain-mail, gloves and sword - and this was the result:
But we decided it looked ridiculous, and decided to lose the crown, and the chicken (it just covered up too much of the sword):
But guess what? Still dumb. So we tried again, but this time got rid of the chain-mail and gloves, and voila...a cover was born. Btw, the smoke is real. I have a smoke machine we occasionally use (like in this munchies video) and I would step on the controller to smoke up the shot just before Lucas would shoot the pic.
