Ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt & fresh ground black pepper
Neutral oil
Chicken wings
Oil for deep frying
Directions
Heat smoker to 250 degrees
Combine rub ingredients well in a small bowl
Lightly oil the chicken wings, and sprinkle generously with rub
Put on smoker and cook until 165 degrees, remove
Heat frying oil to 350, and in batches cook wings about 2 minutes
Remove, and sprinkle with a little more rub
